I think you will have great difficulty getting meaningful answers to these biased and loaded questions. You should eliminate these subjective and interpretive terms and strip these questions down to the bare bone. Then you might be able to arrive at a better understanding. Here try this question, I think it wrings the bias out whatever result you might get:

Is it better for a little boy to live peacefully with his loving father in Cuba, than to be living in a vortex of anti-Castro hatred, with relatives who are openly defiant of the US Government, who make him sleep in a room with a hysterical cousin, and who would keep him from ever seeing his father?

1. Yes

2. No

You see, once you get the bias out of your question, the truth becomes self evident.
