B: H-NET Announces Educational Partnership for Continuing Education

NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y., May 3, 2000 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- H-NET.COM, Inc.
(OTC Bulletin Board: HNSP) announced today that it has reached an agreement with
Lifelearn Eyecare, at the University of Waterloo, to provide a full-range of
on-line optometry courses on a global basis through H-NET(R)'s Continuing
Education Internet portal. The faculty of Lifelearn Eyecare, based at the
Waterloo's School of Optometry, is internationally regarded as preeminent in
eyecare education.

Under the terms of the agreement, H-NET(R) will present courses and exams on the
Internet based on Lifelearn Eyecare's existing curriculum. Courses will also be
available for purchase in CD-ROM format. H-NET(R) will offer new courses as they
are developed by Lifelearn Eyecare. H-NET(R)'s Continuing Education on-line
program is the vision care industry's first Internet-based education facility
for professionals who must undergo training every year in order to maintain
certification.

Approximately 100,000 licensed ophthalmology technicians, optometrists, retail
opticians and other professionals in North America alone must be recertified
each year in order to retain their licenses. H-NET(R)'s Continuing Education
program provides an opportunity for these professionals to earn the necessary
credits and training for recertification through a convenient on-line tutorial,
via the Internet.

Anton Stephens, CEO of H-NET(R), said, "This agreement represents a significant
expansion of our ability to provide on-line education for vision care
professionals on a global basis. In addition to the estimated 100,000 licensed
vision care professionals requiring recertification each year in just North
America, this expanded program offers valuable educational opportunities for
those interested in expanding their skills and qualifications and those desiring
to enter the profession throughout the world."

H-NET.COM, Inc. is emerging as the global digital B2B solutions provider for the
vision care industry. With its multi-service Internet portal and Internet-based
transaction processing services, H-NET(R) provides services to retail opticians,
retail chain home offices, optometrists, ophthalmologists and optical labs.
