Are there any Mac experts here?

I have a Mac PPC 6100/60 here with System 7.5 installed on it, that much I know. Ultimately, I am trying to get TCP/IP connectivity but first I think I need to install Mac TCP from the System 7.5 CD-ROM.

I also recently connected a SCSI CD-ROM which it doesn't quite recognize at the moment. After checking the System7.5 readme here is what I did to try and get the system to recognize the CD-ROM:

Control Panels -> PC Exchange -> Options
(the CD-ROM was recognized but not installed at this point)
Restart (CD-ROM still not installed)

What do I need to install / connect to the CD-ROM? This is new to me, as I am much more used to IBM hardware. Any help would be appreciated....
