Can we agree that, while these threads are public places in cyberspace, there are unspoken social rules in each of them? For instance, it's important to you that options, and options only be discussed here. For me and Jill, it's important that our threadmates treat each other respectfully and not engage in personal attacks. My view is that since Jill and I started, and run this thread as we see fit, those people who are not willing to discuss options, engage in a little personal banter, and do so respectfully can find other places to post.
And finally, I'm very disappointed by ed's, and now your, bringing into a public forum issues that are of a personal and private nature between ed and Jill. Mother hen or not, I would have expected better. |
