I could only find one US patent for Simon Cao as well, but here is his bio for additional info. Dr. Cao's experience includes a lengthy list of firsts in research and development and product development in the optical field. He has been granted six U.S. patents, and 34 patents are pending. avanex.com The manufacturing space question was addressed. It would probably be wise to wait for their head count numbers in their next report before crucifying George on that point. Definitely sloppy on the patents and manufacturing space! BTW, I do not get the GTR and could care less about Avanex. I've just been having fun lurking on this thread. Bob
