Joan, i have been in REITs as well, but have recently sold after collecting a few divvies and realizing a little capital gain. right now i'm concentrating on inflation proxies on the long side, as well as some defensive sectors. the REITs will be a buy again at lower levels imo. once the big dollar squeeze is over, the inflation proxy stocks will run big... regards, hb
