LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 3, 2000--Vertical Computer
Systems, Inc. (OTCBB:VCSYE) announced today that it is now in
compliance with all requirements for continued listing on the Over The
Counter Bulletin Board. In association with the Company becoming
compliant with SEC reporting requirements the Company's stock symbol
will resume its original trading symbol of "VCSY". The current stock
symbol is VCSYE.
On May 2, 2000 the Company completed and filed its 8-K, reporting
its merger with Scientific Fuel Technology, Inc. ("Scientific"), a
1934 Act fully reporting company. Pursuant to the merger and under the
provisions of Rule 12g-3 of the Exchange Act, Vertical Computer
Systems, Inc. assumed the reporting obligations of Scientific, by
electing successor issuer status to Scientific, which causes Vertical
Computer Systems, Inc. to become a fully reporting company.
