The best companies NEVER have "reasonable" valuations in ANY market. Well, most of the "best" tech companies have certainly traded at P/E ratios that are less than half of their current values within the past five years, so I'm not sure if I agree with the above. e.g. - Intel has traded at a P/E of 14, Cisco at 31, etc..
