Victor ... About Investment Losses

>>>A lot was said on this board about Rosen's brilliant investment acumen and how it was driving the value of COMPAQ. I have seen no posts about the recent heavy losses in the value of the portfolio.<<<

Your arrogance and ignorance are unbelievable. The main point you were talking about is that the shareholders would have been better off if CPQ took AV public instead of selling 83% of it for 42.6M shares of CMGI plus 200M note. The fact of the matter is CPQ and its shareholders are still much better off with what Rosen did because AV never went public and who knows what it is worth right now. When the deal was struck in August of 99, CMGI stock price was $39, today it is $62, this is about 59% gain in about 9 months period. I would say, this is not bad compared with your investment record of buying CPQ above $40 and selling in the low 20 as El indicated.
