Craig, Ausdauer, a few days ago you argued that SNDK and SSTI were not competitors because SSTI makes imbedded flash and SNDK has a powerful presence in removeable flash cards. Now that SNDK has entered the imbedded flash market and SSTI is advertising CF cards, do you still feel the same way? Somehow I think you got your pants in a bundle on this one. Here we go again... SSTI vs. SNDK I don't think I was unclear in any of my points and I don't wish to revisit this matter. As I explained to Mike earlier today the press release indicated that SanDisk is still interested in and following the embedded market, not that it is willing to commit a full-scale effort there. Perhaps the timing of the press release was intended to attract others who are tracking the successes of FLSH and SSTI with their latest earnings report. I think that is a very constructive use of a press release even if i-Opener doesn't meaningfully contribute to earnings. Perhaps it was meant to have more of a "me, too" effect or perhaps we are reading too much into to it altogether. SanDisk has the option of deciding which markets it chooses to pursue based on market demand, its (SNDK's) core competencies, anticipated gross margins, interest, etc... and is limited currently only by capacity constraints. I tend not to see things in absolute terms and feel SanDisk is flexible and nimble enough to maneuver through the various terrains with the flash landscape as they see fit.
