Benkea,

Most of these reits have been paying high prices for their properties during the last few years and IMO these assets will decline in value. During inflationary times they will be able to raise their rates, but when this market starts to take its toll you will find reit properties without tenants. IMO, this is when you want to buy. I am sure you could find a sector within the reit area that could be a buy at the present time, but I can not.

Edit: I look at replacement value of the properties on a historical bases.
