We need to get an accountant into this discussion to explain to us if possible when the economic consequence of the cash outflow needs to be flagged for SHs.

Maybe I wasn't clear about the notes in the financial statements. Maybe we look at it differently and simply disagree.

Yes, it would be an interesting intellectual exercise to learn when the information is required to be reported in the balance sheet. But if the information is already in the notes to the financial statements, investors are made aware of the facts and should take it upon themselves to understand the implications. I don't see any decision that would be different for an informed investor being made aware of the facts by way of the notes instead of the columns of numbers.
