Anacomp's Field Service Business Provides Global Support In 50 Countries for Leading Fibre Channel Switches

(Nasdaq: ANCR), a leading provider of Fibre Channel switches, announced today that Anacomp's Field Service business unit will provide maintenance and support for Ancor's SANbox(TM) family of switches. Driven by increasing sales through integrator and reseller channels, Ancor signed the agreement to provide its end-user customers with a world-class service and support program. Anacomp was selected for its global reach and experience with multi-vendor storage area networks (SANs). Terms of the companies' worldwide maintenance agreement call for Anacomp to provide support for Ancor's SANbox end users, augmenting the direct 24x7 support services Ancor provides its OEMs and resellers today. Under the agreement, Anacomp will provide onsite support, technical support, and logistics services as an optional package directly to Ancor's end users and in conjunction with Ancor partners. Ancor's SANbox family is the broadest line of Fibre Channel switches in the industry, delivering the switch hardware and fabric management software essential for SAN infrastructures.
