Jozef,

Do you know if the KX133 chipsets can be used with Duron?

My understanding has also been "NO". But I did see this on Ace's:

Socket-A Boards To Appear in May (HARDWARE)

According to Shopping Guide Taiwan , Taiwanese motherboard makers will demo their Socket-A motherboards at the upcoming Taiwan International Computer Expo in early June. Some motherboard makers are actually quoted as saying that they will start mass production and shipment of Socket-A motherboards as early as the end of this month. These motherboards will feature VIA's KZ133 chipset, which is similar feature-wise to its Slot-A sibling KX133. Now something that caught my attention: "Slotket-A" or Slot-A-to-Socket-A converter boards do exist! We have previously reported that Socket-A K7s cannot be used on Slot-A motherboards via a Slotket-A converter card due to some compatibility issues, but apparently that is not correct. According to the same report, some motherboard makers have already successfully produced Slotket-A cards, but they do not have any plan of mass producing these cards in the near future due to high cost. DUH!

Credit goes to TangJack for providing the link.
