On the Dorsey Wright thread, they've been talking
about the fact that there is real inflation. This is based on such things as wage pressures resulting from the settlement of a number of strikes, as one example.

I don't understand the economic data well enough to discern whether this is true. Many believe there
is insufficient evidence of inflation.

I think the Fed will tread cautiously because this
is an election year. I know I've said this before,
but this Administration has two candidates to get
elected come November and I have to believe that
maintaining a strong appearing economy and a general
sense of financial well-being among the populace are
essesntial to that effort. They've gotta be sitting
on the Fed boys......JMO
