This morning's papers (on topic and kind of OT)

1. The Seattle P-I reports Nathan Myhrvold's decision not to return to MSFT. He had been on leave since last July from his position as CTO, and this decision is not terribly surprising. Still, the brain drain from MSFT is severe. The Seattle P-I reports that Myhrvold said his departure "had nothing to do with the antitrust suit pending against Microsoft. . . ."

2. My edition of the New York Times--in referring to the death of Cardinal John O'Connor--describes him in big letters in a subheadline on the front page as a "Primate." (Presumably, unless he had BTE, discontinuous innovation, a value chain, hypergrowth, etc., what the NYT intended to say was "Prelate.")
