Don Lawson, President and CEO of LightPath Technologies, stated that this announcement is a continuation of the company's emphasis on growth and expansion, specifically in the telecommunications market. Garry Goodman has been in the laser and optics industry for over 30 years. He has a degree in Physics, and has extensive experience selling and developing distribution networks both domestically and internationally. While Goodman has been with LightPath Technologies in various capacities since 1996, he will now be focused on covering the fast-growing Silicon Valley and Western Rim countries including Japan, China, Korea and others. Goodman is located in Carlsbad, CA.

Lainie Maltzman will be working out of LightPath's newest offices in Warren, New Jersey. She most recently worked with Philips Speech Processing as a National Account Manager, and previously spent 3 years with Lucent Technologies and 5 years with AT&T in various sales and marketing functions. Maltzman has a B.S. in Advertising from the University of Florida, and brings with her a breadth of experience in the telecommunications industry.

Kevin Mitchell was most recently with Motorola Internet and Networking Group as a Global Account Manager for Bell Atlantic and GTE. With over 15 years of management experience, Mitchell began his career as the owner of his own communications company. After selling his business, he went on to launch new products for manufacturers like Temic, a Daimler-Benz Company, and Fujitsu. He has an MBA from LeTourneau University and will be working from the Dallas, Texas area.
