Tell us about the new DocuPrint 184hc (price $490,000) I don't think that it is just for offive computer networks. The new DocuColor 70 can produce 70 high quality full-color impressions per minute. Isn't that as fast as the QMDI? Yes, PRST plates are too expensive for the short runs but they are also not appropriate for the big jobs that the offset guys do. So, PRST fits in a niche which is actually closing in size. These Xeroxes are taking more and more of the short runs from the bottom end. And PRST/QMDI does not compete in the very long runs. Bulls, tell me again, what great printing products will be run using these plates? Calendars, book covers and sales brochures? Wow...
