I'm not very excited about it. I started noticing this very mild pattern early in April; it doesn't happen the same way every day, of course, but I've noticed many days where there was early weakness, followed by modest upticks in the middle of the day, followed by more weakness after 2-2:30. I have been interpreting that as a sign that the professionals are net sellers, rather than buyers, at this point. Of course, all the talking heads on CNBC will tell you they were safely on the sidelines by mid-March and that they're awash in cash, ready to buy the bargains. . . .
