Finally an intelligent geological interpretation. It sure beats the last two newsletters I read yesterday (not including the L.O.M. letter that I thought was well thought out and very comprehensive). One took all sixteen holes from the scout drill program (which is primarily intended to define the field)including the ones far outside of the field, and predicted a sell-off based upon the low average grade they arrived at. The other said that there was a remote chance that a large quantity of copper would be found (he's the kid that seems to know more than Mr. Lowell).

This was posted by Fieldgeo at on the StockHouse forum.

Despite what the market is doing CTQ will be a miner if they have more targets like Warinza.

Just plotted out the map and added the drillhole analyses into some cross sections (thanks for the topography).

Before I comment does anyone know whether these are all vertical holes or if some or all are inclined?

Note that the molybdenum background map is significant in that Mo is generally considered immobile during the leaching processes that form the Cu enrichment blanket. Meaning that as Cu is removed from the rock, moly stays where it is, the copper moves downwards in leaching solutions to approximately the water table where it concentrated in mineral form. So a surface map showing the distribution of copper would likely NOT show any anomalies as the copper nearest the surface has been removed and concentrated at depth. So, moly is a good tracer to where you would expect to find copper in these types of deposits.

My assumption is that the holes were vertical and north is the top of the map. The fence of holes 15, 7, 3, 4, 5 shows that the 1% Cu blanket is OPEN to the WEST and SOUTH and likely a bit deeper in hole 5 towards its eastern end.

The very short fences of holes A(1 and 4) and B(2 and 5) and C(6 and 3) suggest to me that the blanket is OPEN to the NORTH-WEST. From 4 to 1 the blanket gets thicker and increases in grade. I think that the 5-2 blanket thickens towards 1. From 6 to 3 the blanket also thickens and
increases in grade. Although this is down slope the dip in the blanket still deepens with respect to the surface.

STILL great potential on this target west and north of 15 and north and northwest of 1 (good grades and thicknesses). The southwest of 15 is also interesting, but may return values like hole 8 which bears a nice 138m of about 0.7% copper.

This may be similar for area trending north of 9 and west of 11-12.

FG.
