I'm no trading expert, but think the news should have been viewed positively. Even though the Pentium II has a known bug with certain math calculations, Avid has apparently certified it for use with its MCXpress and claims it will give it a significant performance boost.

I think the move down today is more likely a combination of momentum investors exiting after the rapid rise and other investors going to cash who are worried that the entire market is turning back down again ahead of the May Federal Reserve meeting.
