TSO dropped 2 5/16 yesterday, after announcing it will keep its Kenai Alaska refinery open but will close a few of its Alaska gas stations/convenience stores. Apparently the market didn't like the decision. Tesoro has lost a lot of money in Alaska each year ($3 million in 1999) and I surmise that shareholders were looking for a more drastic cutback. Unless anyone has more info?
