Thanks Tommy. After posting my question, I decided to get off my duff and try to find the answer for myself. For anyone who might be interested, the info is available here:

For the period 3/98-3/99 M3 increased by 537.52 billion, so it appears the rate of increase is slightly less. I don't know if that's significant, but there you have it. I still don't understand why the FED would increase money supply and interest rates at the same time. It seems contradictory to me--any comments?
