Tec, Don't bother with that anymore. There is obviously some thing that JDSU is missing that is keeping JDSU out of the S and P 500. I believe it is positive EBITDA and/or Net Income. They want stocks with actual PEs---at least that seems to be the case.

One thing I would point out is that when mid cap 400 stocks are added, there appears to be less of a run up in the stock. JDSU is not in the mid cap and has the potential for a much larger run up when it actually happens. I think it will be after the next quarterly earnings report (1 year would have also passed since the big merger of JDS and Uniphase).

I don't really think it is a big deal anymore. I have given up on the addition in the short term. The catalyst now would be the approval of the ETEK merger for it to make a big move, IMHO.
