The argument that bids on the Naz will totally vanish is nonsense. If the Naz was headed for a HUGE crash it would have cracked 3200, then cracked 2800 and headed down in freefall.

Why did the Naz bounce off those levels a couple of times? Just a feint, deliberately designed to fool the poor, ignorant investors who have made money in the market the past few years. Right.

But if it makes some people feel better to assume the worst possible outcome instead of analyzing the ticker we have in front of us, then have fun.

Assuming an extreme, worst case outcome is not intelligent discussion. It is pure tabloid journalism.

The reporter's name is Chicken Little, btw.

I know, I know, the whole thing is STILL waiting out there somewhere to happen. Let me know when I'm supposed to panic. The posts telling me it's a dead cert have been running around SI for years.
