Xerox printers produce 300 - 600 dpi results, QMDI about 1200 - 2400. Big difference for magazines & annual reports. XRX is good for invoices, fliers, mailers, etc. Check out xerox.com for details on these printers..... XRX has great products, but it's a lot of money for 600 dpi, IMHO. The old spark discharge had better resolution than that. Charles
