el paradiso ..I went off and did something more interesting.

So ... the DOW was down ... the Nasdaq slightly up ... but from your 'predictive' view I gather one would have expected the Nasdaq to be down ... and down substantially more percentage wise than the DOW.

Now maybe its just me, but it seems that you have recently taken on the role of thread host. Unfortunately, I find that your analysis is neither accurate nor detailed enough to be useful... and to boot, some of the regular posters seem to have lessened their contributions.... which doesn't help.

LG maybe having a good laugh at the deterioration of the thread without his presence, but I know a lot of people lurk this board looking for guidance .. and it is recommended by some of the other better SI threads as a place to refer to for answers ... or at least some sense. I think there is a need to post less and say more.... and if anyone is in doubt ... why bother posting anything ... duh ??!!.

Traditionally the posts to this thread have usually been relatively succinct and detailed, with smatterings of irreverant humour ... and if things started to get out of whack ... LG would get things back on course. I liked that as I have no time for threads cluttered with worthless posts/information.

I know there were recent discussions about LG and his role/manner ... and a number of people maybe happier with the way the thread is evolving. If so, then perhaps it is time to start yet another thread ... I guess every 2/3 years is perhaps a cycle. Maybe even Don Sew could be enticed to pay it a visit ... GG.

In any event, good trading everyone

Stephen
