you're also adventurous. CSCO is by far the biggest holding of both Fido and Janus...you can bet that they're going to defend it tooth and nail. once you own 250 million CSCO shares, how can you sell them? it's nearly impossible without completely destroying the stock. so they buy more and more (after all there's no shortage of CSCO stock...7 bn. outstanding <vbg>) and everybody who's even remotely involved is keeping it propped up. it's almost become a national security issue i believe...<g>

note hat they have all those congressmen in their pocket already re. pooling of interest accounting.

of course if you think the whole pyramid scheme will one day blow up, it's really a tempting shorting target. note there are about 45m. CSCO shares shorted...they regularly squeeze those shorts. that's also a national pastime i think. fundamentally it makes absolutely no sense to buy a co. of this size at a 180 p/e....but there's lots of vested interest at stake here.
