The Royal Bank has a discount brokerage called Action Direct. They send their investors a quarterly market update. It's a 4-pager called The Action Direct Investor. The one which went out this week had a table entitled "stocks and mutual funds for your portfolio" Under the title "for income" it listed 9 companies. Under the title "for growth" it listed 8 companies. Under the title "for speculation" it listed the following: ABC $10.75 Abacan resource AXB 11.05 Allelix bio BKP 31.30 Berkley pete BCB 13.35 Cott corp GUR 13.00 Gulfstream resource SSB 3.86 StressGen Biotechnologies
