Actually, you are quite wrong about this. Do the research and check the statistics, and then ask why Compaq and Motorola are working on fingerprint. Of course, hardware can now be down for as little as $20. How much is iris scanning? Less than $1000?

You'll see this play out in the next few months, not the next few years.
