I am just curious about the people in this forum and their level of risk tolerance. How many here would be willing to invest $100,000 in just one stock such as Remedy? (Assuming you had somehow saved up this kind of cash or had made this much money in other investments over the years) I mean just imagine if you had gotten in Remedy at the irrational selling down to 22 and now it rallied back up to almost 40.
Would anyone here take this kind of specific company risk? Does 'no guts no glory' apply here? I am just asking because I have only been in the markets for about 1-2 years and have begun to realize the fortunes that can be made. My father is trying to scare me away from small caps.
