raise prices for product and you run risk of losing business to more efficient competitive producer also, purchase other clever equipment and drive down your unit costs my conclusion is that the singlemost definable element to suffer will be profits producers simply cannot pass down costs to final product price the internet is far too pervasive now in leveling the field with instantaneous competitive pricing (I saw it at Staples in spades) bottom line: profits suffer, competition rules / Jim Willie
