I kind of agree with this on a short term basis. The positives for AMD are that:
- Intel is still floundering and there is no pressure to have PC133 at the low-end
- Analyst expectation are still way too low if AMD performs reasonably well

However, it is very difficult to ignore the potential impact on Thunderbird sales if there is no competitive AGZ-4x/PC-133 kind of platform.

After Q2 results, if AMD has to reduce the back-end unit forecast because of infrastructure problems, the growth in the stock price might stall.
