generic question...

you made out great because you took profits, which is the basic premise of options as a portfolio enhancement...

it is a "stochastic" game, which i have posted since the inception of the thread....use of momentum indicators are imperative when dealing with a finite product...

profit taking and ltb+h.....markets are much different now then they were even ten years ago. note the performance of value or the buffett style....it's contra to the "reality" of the momentum style....unfortunately "right" in investing is not always "reality", but the "perception" of same....i doubt very much that "value" will return long term as it once did....why?...too much liquidity, a shift in psychology, and money managers chasing momentum to capture gains for their portfolios.....six months from now, all this angst will be forgotten....good? bad? depends on the vantage point of the individual
