Albert,
Come on now!! That's a loaded question... :0) MSU has lost Keith Hall, a director of the company and the most knowledgable person they had regarding marketing. They also lost Keith Goodyer, who has taken on another position that has better rewarded his talents, I believe John Watts has left as well. (not sure, but I could get back to you on this.) All of these are major events that no one at MSU felt to be news worthy. Ridiculous!! How many people know that K. Goodyer has left MSU?? Not many. I didn't find it out until just recently, although I had known he was discussing heading for greener pastures last fall.
They apparently still have not convinced Wyn Holloway to step back and let his people do their jobs on the marketing side.
Former members of MSU have moved on to better positions. The only hope for MSU is their talented staff of remaining engineers and Jerry Capacci(sic) who, rumour has it, is moving to make some major changes at the company. (All my best goes to your efforts, Jerry!!)
So when is it a buying opportunity? As I always opined before.., when they reflect positive earnings based on contractual sales and royalties. Until then it is nothing but a game of liar's poker. And no one is playing straight with the shareholders of the company. That I know for a fact.
But to let you honestly know the truth... I have tired of MSU. Keith Goodyer and John Watts are quality people. The fact that Keith G. left told me a lot. He and I used to converse on a regular basis as I attempted to better understand the technology. We shared many of the same thoughts, (primarily that Software was where the money was at). Wyn Holloway scoffed at becoming a software rather than hardware business. That was a major mistake in my opinion. It cost them the sole opportunity that they had to direct their own destiny.
I will only post to this thread when someone posts to me. I have engaged in a series of verbo-electronically hostile exchanges with MSU over on the AOL discussion thread and Pat Meding has asked that I stop disrespecting the company ( I believe she referred to it as spreading lies and half-truths.). The fact that they have not been up-front about the personnel changes that have drastically affected this company over the past several months tells me something.
Did anyone who has contacted Forte' Communications know this information?? I would be interesting in seeing some comments.
However, remember... I am no longer a shareholder of MSU, but due to my past experience with the company, I have a vested interest in seeing them respond to shareholder concerns.
Regards,
