It certainly raises the question of whether the strategy of web switching is the best way to play this sector. The verdict on that is still out. Clearly, Dell doesn't think so.

I sense this was just another excuse to sell FFIV. I'm not clear how the fundamentals have changed for FFIV here. What I am clear about is the determination of sellers.
