in the last conference call they mentioned that they are using less than 50% capacity of UMC's share and they have no interest of selling thier portion any time soon. the CEO is on the board of UMC. so they have big clout with UMC.I dont see why they dont "rent" some portion of the capacity to company who needs it without selling any shares they own.
