I will give DROOY the benefit of the doubt and wait for the next quarters numbers for confirmation. But the point I was trying to make is that the very recent public numbers as of March 31, 2000 are something any self respecting gold mining company with a 100 year old history should be ashamed about. In particular I am refering to the hedges for the year July 2001 thru June 2002. They really need to
do something about reducing that hedge from their books and soon. I think I will send them an email inquiry on this matter, if I don't find on the internet where this 600K reduction in hedges actually came from. Their hedge book is pretty complicated and the simple statement I've seen is not sufficient at all. If I didn't know better, I would almost accuse them of being deceptive for not providing more precise details on such an important matter. But knowing what we know about these South African companies it was probably not intentional :)
