The key phrase here is: Mr. Pasternak says limit-order information is not "central" to the firm's trading He originally said it was their big advantage in the market. The rest of his comments were his "public face"; remember that the man is talking to Congress here. Check out the original WSJ article posted on this thread (message #7090) for more of his comments.
