I watch CNBC all day, every day. Usually the sound is turned
very, very, low or off. The racket quickly gets on my nerves. We
investors have enough on our minds so we don't need additional
stimulation. We watch CNBC because we need to, not because
we want to -- there's the difference.
Give us a break, Set the format for adults. Increase depth of
coverage. A serious matter deserves more than ten seconds.
And here's a biggie: think before speaking. Try to percieve the
needs of viewers instead of the needs of rumour mongers and
petty hawkers trying to sell their fools gold. This shouldn't be
too hard, since viewers are investors, and their needs can't be
too hard to imagine. My thoughts, FD.
