Remember last week, that was just a headfake? The market remains volatile although it has taken into account the 50 basis point as a given. Today it ignores the unemployment data. How much it can continue to ignore those numbers remains to be seen.

On the plus side, there are plenty of money on the sideline. People keep contributing to 401K under automatic payroll deductions, and mutual funds sooner and later have to put them back in the market.

As I posted to Poet earlier, I am looking at the first two legs of a triple play option which could be profitable under this environment. I still have to work the numbers. This is not a get rich quick scheme like those of daytraders (sadly they took the biggest hit), but a way to provide a decent return.
