niceguy...re:We are TAKING OFF BIG TIME!!!!" < Comment: Analysis looks just fine to me and the conclusion "We are TAKING OFF BIG TIME" can also be drawn from a technical analysis of the 3 month daily trading range chart which clearly shows a penant formation which will close within the next week or two...Look for a significant change in price from existing $91 within 2 weeks! > Not trying to throw a wrench into things, but what if an analyst or two comes out and says AMD is having problems with the motherboard situation. This could significantly impact the stock on the downside if these guys have any influence. Personally, I don't know what the big thing about the motherboard situation is. I assumed all along that the infrastructure for the motherboards was going to have to change for the Duron and Thunderbird (except slotted versions of Thunderbird). My assumption was that the transition was going smoothly and that AMD had prepared VIA for this quite some time back. Now it appears VIA may be behind the curve on this one and any negative news could have a short term negative impact on the stock. Just my thoughts. Regards Ed P.
