Thurston The distance from the edge rule is no longer in effect. Seems like I remember 12ft once and it changing to 8ft before being dropped altogether. I think the USGA now recommends 15ft. As far as close to slopes is concerned, Ken is on the money. As Dave Hill (about Hazeltine) once said: The #%&&^$#@# of a %&^(&& that set that one ought to have to play it for a living! I'm aware of Sarkies' motives. "She" even wants to play the red tees! I'm not falling for that!! LOL tc
