Re: Linking charts: In RT3 I would have a page that contained 5 windows; Level II, T&S, daily chart, 60 min chart, and 5 min chart. By setting up 4 of the windows as "links" off the level II window, if I typed in a new symbol in the level II window it would change the symbol in all 5 of the windows. That's a great feature that WOW doesn't have.

I haven't had a need to contact Tech support yet. Everything seem pretty straightforward, and the documentation is thorough enough.

The tech studies seem comparable to those in RT3. I don't go much beyond ma's, so I can't tell you for sure if anything is lacking. The news is Comtex. They deliver PR Newswire, Businesswire, and a few other providers.

But it's the data!! Unlike PCQ, where every server seemed to have different historical data, and where complete days were often missing, I've found no flaws yet with WOW's data. In the several weeks I've been on there's been just a few minutes of downtime due to a router problem. Also, logging on is so much faster now. No more of that "permissions" BS that always seemed to take forever.

I don't even realize I'm using IE. It's dedicated to WOW and is virtually transparent. And it's only one click to connect or disconnect to the server. You can work on charts offline anytime you want. You never have to close the program.

Even though I do miss a few features in RT3 that WOW doesn't have, the advantages more than make up for it. I know I probably sound like a kid with a new Pokemon toy, but after 3 years in "PC Quote Hell", I feel liberated.
