"Enemy" didn't. "Swift retaliation" didn't. Reference to other threads didn't. The "If you... Then I" construction didn't.

The definition of intimidate is, of course, to coerce or inhibit by, or as if by, threats.

One would hardly need to look in the dictionary, would one, though?

Unless one were scrutinizing it to look for a way to wiggle, Clintonesque, out of owning up like a decent man to one's words?

Face it. You tried to intimidate me but preserve deniability.

I erased your threat by making you deny that interpretation publicly so you couldn't harass me on other threads without that denial being exposed as a lie.
