Right. But how many of those trillions will be handed over to the suppliers of this new form of communication? Well, given accelerating revenues and earnings I guess still more. ;) I have never been enamored by Buffet - never. He's a great value investor. Tech are not value plays - they are growth plays. One can certainly make an arguement that we should be returning to value based investing and to a certain degree we are. But CSCO has been showing rev. and earn. growth for how many quarters now??? I think this is why it has the lofty valuation. One can argue all day long about whether we're at the top or not but there are no current indications that we are. Anyway. My point...which you appear to agree with is that looking at personal income as a barometer for valuations is not even a weak link. Money multiplies through the economy too many times. OG
