john - there's a reason why the apache / linux combination is so prominent in the web server space - it's robust, easy to administer, cheap, fast and efficient. Hard to argue with that combo. I personally don't see any easy way for MSFT to get ahead there. They also have a lot of work to do in web caching - my favorite product is the NOVL package but there are several which beat the pants off MSFT.
