SRVHAP,
Not all the cards in this game have been played yet. AWRE seemingly has been publicity hungry with non contractual, non exclusive "agreements." Do you really think Awre's announcements mean anything substantial?
Rumor at interop is that AWRE is having big problems with their product. Some wonder if it is even an entity yet ;others state "six out of eight" have been returned. AWRE didn't have a booth, but slick Jim Bender sure found his way to the AMTX display.
By the way both AMTX and WSTL were complimenting each other. I overheard JS speaking to a broker stating that WSTL does a good job and will do well in the overall market. A WSTL rep told me that a heat sink has been built into their CAP "box" to prepare for DMT utilization. WSTL like AMTX is just waiting for the chips. WSTL rep basically told me that CAP is here today and "tested" ;DMT has advantages we're just waiting for the chips.
IMHO the story is not complete, yet, all I know is that ADSL is a soon ti be reality. AMTX will have a piece of the large, worldwide pie.
All IMHO,
Brice Guckien
