Spoke to IR this afternoon. No question but behind schedule on getting the K23 pipe tested. On review of the original bulk sample it became evident that it was compromised in large part by having been gone over in past years by Artiszn miners. Now they are back to digging further trenches to obtain undisturbed material. Doesn't help that the field guys are jumping up and down about K24 and have some equipment there which delays things. They are also repairing dozers and the 14' pan and crusher are being further modified. Good old Africa and the slow speed lane.

On the positive side the road in S. Africa is now progressing and the alluvial diamonds seem to be flowing even better than expected. Mind you this puts pressure on the exploration because the production guys want those dozers put to work generating input material for their plant.

No question but I'm disappointed with no pending results of a bulk sample from K23 but if you're going to do it and have independant experts looking over your shoulder you might as well do it right. There is one hell of a lot on the stove and sooner or later it should boil over.
