I am not buying physical. Cause I risk holding a non performing assets for years. I believe in the long term of silver, but I have no idea when it will begin to rise. On the other hand, I know that some silver stocks can perform explosively with silver at $5-$5.50.

OTOH, once a silver bull gets started, it might be a good idea to do so... but again, I prefer silver stocks.

Not recently. I am aware of new applications like silver solders, electrical coating for super-conductors and follow as well the slow progress of digital photo... But that is it.
